What We're Looking For
3+ years of video editing experience, ideally within DTC, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands
Strong portfolio showcasing performance-driven video (especially paid social)
Deep understanding of what works across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta platforms
Expert proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or equivalent
Strong instincts for pacing, hooks, captions, music, and visual storytelling
Comfortable working with UGC, lo-fi footage, and creator content
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to hit fast turnarounds
Collaborative, open to feedback, and energized by testing and iteration
What You'll Do
Edit high-performing short-form and mid-form video content for paid social and growth marketing (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Turn raw footage (UGC, influencer, product, testimonials, founder content) into conversion-focused assets
Apply platform-native editing styles: fast pacing, hooks, captions, transitions, sound design, and trends
Collaborate closely with Growth Marketing, Creative Strategy, and Content teams to iterate on concepts and optimize performance
Version and adapt creative quickly based on performance data (hooks, CTAs, formats, lengths)
Maintain brand consistency while testing new creative angles, formats, and storytelling approaches
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving production environment

This is a long-term freelance opportunity with consistent volume and close collaboration with a best-in-class growth and creative team.
This role is ideal for a performance-minded editor who understands how to cut content that stops the scroll, drives conversion, and scales across paid and organic channels.
Nice to Have
Experience editing content specifically for beauty, skincare, or wellness brands
Familiarity with growth metrics (CTR, CVR, thumb-stop rate, ROAS)
Motion graphics or light animation skills
Experience working with creative testing frameworks and rapid iteration cycles
THE CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A SMALL CASE STUDY BEFORE THEY ARE PRESENTED TO THE CLIENT TEAM
